Josh's Surprise 30th Birthday

July 31, after forever of secrets and planning! We all threw Josh a 30th birthday! He was so surprised. I had to do so much sneaking around and he never found out! So many people came out for it! I know it meant the world to him. He is such a great husband and person he deserved a great day. We had it out at the legion where we just hung out a played cornhole. He got so many great gifts. I don't think he knew what to do with himself. I am very glad is was successful! Happy 30th Josh! We all love you so much!!

Father's Day Weekend

What a great weekend we had for Father's day! We all took off on Friday and went to Patoka Lake! We rented a pontoon that had a slide and carried a tube! Everyone had fun going down the slide and riding on the tube! I am so happy everyone got together to do this we made many great memories that day!
Josh and his dad went golfing at the country club Sunday morning! They had a lot of fun and Larry mentioned it should become a family tradition for them!

Memorial Day Weekend

What a great weekend we had! Saturday while Josh went and got his hair cut, I met up with my parents and sisters for some yard sales! We met at Meme's where they had a block yard sale and then we went to some more!!! We found some pretty good stuff! I had to hurry and come home to be at Justin's Graduation Party at noon! We went to the Boonville park, which is very nice! It was really nice to see the Ambrose side of the family! We took family pictures and visited! It was such a great time! Grandma Teresa met her twin sisters for the very first time! Fox 7 was even there for the reunion of them!! She said she feels like it felt like all of her Christmas' and Birthday's in one! She met another sister a few months ago! She has been looking for them for years. We are so happy she had the chance to meet them!

Sunday Josh and my family got our new pool all set up! I am so excited about that! Every since I have been pregnant it is hard to be outside because I get so hot! Now I have a pool to float around in! I think we will have so much fun this summer in it! I know my sisters are excited! Hopefully Tyler comes over and swims with us too! I see many good cookouts to come!

Monday was a very special day! It was the first Memorial day without my Papaw Bill! I never really knew how special of a day it was until I lost my papaw! He served in the Army and Color Guard. It was very emotional because just last year he was joining in with the color guard! It was a struggle for him to be there but it was that important to him! Some of the men said that papaw kept them in line and he was very missed and one of a kind! So many people thought so much of him, I just feel so blessed to have had him in my life for 24 years! You sure don't get the chance to meet that many great people and for him to be my grandpa is just awesome! I miss him so much! He is looking down on all of my family, I can feel it!!!

May 15th weekend

I went and picked up the girls after school for a slumber party! Mom and Dad went to Kentucky Lake for an annual fishing trip with the Hudson's! We went and ate Texas Roadhouse and then watched Twilight new moon! I fell asleep but the girls and Josh enjoyed the movie! We got up early Saturday morning to go yard saleing with some girls from work and the neighbor!!! We found some great deals and had lots of fun!


Saturday Mason had his big 21st birthday and graduation party! He graduated from Vincennes with a surverying degree! I am so proud of him! Hopefully he will find a job he loves! He had some fun and so did we! Everyone played lots of cornhole! I didn't get many pics but I am doing better!

Mother's Day

My very first Mother's day started out being great!!! I woke up being 14 weeks pregnant with a very big surprise, Josh got me a camcorder! I was so excited! He had secretly been working extra mowing jobs so he could get me one!
We went to church in Hatfield with almost all of the Pickerill crew! It was great to see everyone! They gave all the moms a flower and I got an extra flower because I was the youngest mom there! We took pictures after which I will have to steal one from Natalie! After that Josh came up with the idea of cooking for my mom, Meme, and the rest of the crew! It was a little chilly but we all got full and had a great time! I hope this blog helps me take more pictures because I didn't take a one.

I have been talking to Natalie for a while about starting this blog. She has such a great one but was always too scared to try!!! Then I read Amanda's blog and thought I had to hop on this blog train! I am so excited to try it and hope it is a great way for our little family memories to be saved. So here's to my first entry!!!!!
